The new EC 90 SL stem weighs just 110-grams in the 100mm length thanks to our exclusive TaperWall technology and a touch of titanium hardware. Because we wanted to be sure the EC90 would never leave you wanting more when it came to handling or durability, we used our proprietary DST or Distributed Stress Technology and Top Lock faceplate to maximize the handlebar/stem interface.

Defined: DST (Distributed Stress Technology) reduces stem clamping stress by changing the shape of the interface between the bar, stem and faceplate. By distributing clamping forces over a larger area and moving the stem bolts away from the edge of the stem, we distribute stress more evenly along the center section of the handlebar.

The Easton EC90 SL is a light carbon stem that you can ride confidently on or off road under normal circumstances. The stem weighs just 110 grams (in the 100mm length) thanks to Easton's Taperwall technology and titanium hardware. Easton's Distributed Stress Technology (DST) and a Top Lock faceplate maximize the handlebar/stem interface so you're not left wanting when it comes to handling or durability.
