DT SWISS RR 1450 Mon Chasseral Front Wheel

The Mon Chasseral wheel from DT Swiss combines light rims, double butted spokes and star ratchet hubs for a quality, lightweigh wheel. The RR 1450 Front Wheel features DT Swiss's SBWT (strength boost welding technology), guaranteeing the best rim joint. Another nice feature on this wheel are the wear control indicators on the sidewalls of the rims. They show the extent of rim wear so you know exactly what your wheel's condition is at any given time just by looking at the sidewalls.

The spokes are "double butted," meaning they are thinner (bladed) in the center and wider at the ends, which is the result of DT Swiss's ongoing research into new technology that improves elasticity in the spokes and raises the strenth to weight performance. DT Swiss "cold forges" their spokes, allowing them to reduce the diameter of each spoke and still have the highest quality possible. Bladed spokes reduce air drag and enable faster acceleration while maintaining stiffness throughout the wheel.

The hubs and the aero spokes are made from top quality material, once again making sure this wheel lasts and keeps its great stiffness. Durability in this wheel is increased with DT Swiss's patented Prolock liquid injection into the nipple thread.

The RR 1450 Chasseral Clincher features DT Swiss's ratchet system with precise star ratchets to guarantee high load capacity and reliability. This allows a do-it-yourself approach to maintaining your bike since no tools are required. A definite plus. The RWS hub makes this RC Clincher wheel stiffer, safer, and more user friendly than quick release wheels.
