ENVE Wheels
ENVE WHEELS are a new addition to CARBON CONNECTION. We are confident in the brand and overly impressed by the quality and design of their products. All ENVE wheels are built by hand to spec, in other words, ENVE WHEELS are custom, hand built wheels featuring top notch quality and material that is considered by many to be a step above the rest. We here at Carbon Connection are proud dealers of ENVE WHEELS and all other ENVE products.
We are a collection of cyclists, friends and innovators. The idea behind the start of our company was to put together a group of individuals that shared passions and direction. From this beginning we set out to build a brand that encompassed all the little things that we thought were important to us and overlooked by others. For the last five years we have pushed ENVE as far as we could. We have found some limitations that now serve as new hurdles, this is a process that has no destination but serves as the guideline for our culture. We believe in the evolution of knowledge and technology and plan to be part of that evolution every chance we earn.
ENVE, by our definition, is the burning desire to get to or create the perfect solution. As we all realize this is an unobtainable goal as the world around us consistently changes, we intend to pursue and even ENVE the final destination. Every product that bears the ENVE name is the result of this burning passion. Each rim, wheel, and component is designed with form, functionality, and beauty in mind. It is Our Culture, it is Our Goal and it will always be Our Way.
Formerly Edge Composites until trademark issues in Europe caused a name change, ENVE has a strong composites background, specifically in the bicycle industry. Our engineers have worked for bike industry companies such as Schwinn/GT, Specialized, Felt, Reynolds and Easton. In fact, you're looking at over 30 years of carbon experience - and that's just on the engineering side. Simply put, we're a bunch of composite tech heads and we're not afraid of introducing and investing in new design concepts, processes and technologies that enable us to offer the absolute best products on the market today (not to mention the things we're working on for tomorrow).
Of major importance to us is that our wheels are proudly made in Ogden, Utah. Yes, we're an American company committed to American design, engineering and manufacturing. You'll often find our founder in the lay-up tent rather than tapping on a Blackberry - and that's the epitome of how we all work together to reach a common goal.
We got our start making tubing and molded parts for the best frame builders - Parlee, Independent Fabrications, Calfee, Vanilla, Crumpton and Ruegamer - custom artisans who refuse to adopt the big box mentality. There's no fluff. No flash. Just quality engineered components that are guaranteed to be the best you've ever ridden - a statement we take incredibly seriously. You only have to look at who we partner with to develop our distribution to understand just how committed we are to checking every box that the entire team is worthy of representing.
