The Trans brings classic style and fit together with modern comfort and performance. It starts with a supple microfiber upper that conforms to your foot “like a glove” and a secure, micro-ratcheting buckle that offers precise fit adjustment. A supportive EVA footbed with Aegis™ anti-microbial treatment provides a comfortable fit and direct connection to the Easton® EC70 composite outsole for smooth and efficient power to the pedal.

GIRO TRANS SHOES EC70 CARBON SOLE

The Giro Trans comes in two colors -- Black and Blue/White. The buckle is replaceable and has two positions for further adjustability. The sole is drilled for three-bolt cleats, and there are pads underneath both the heel and toe for walking on slick surfaces. If you have a yen to try Giro's Supernatural Fit Kit, know that the arch on this insole matches the medium arch of their after-market kit; the shoes are designed to accept after-market insoles without issue. They're available in whole sizes from 39-48 and half sizes from 39.5 to 46.5.

The sole is made from Easton® EC70, a carbon fiber composite that's both lightweight and rigid for great power transfer from your foot to the pedal.

The Trans upper is designed from a microfiber that's breathable and foot conforming. The replaceable ratcheting buckle and two strap closure system is secure yet comfortable. An off-set "D-ring" at the center strap provides extra fit adjustment, while eliminating pressure points.

Giro's Molded EVA footbed offers medium arch support, and features Aegis, an anti-microbial fiber which helps eliminate odor causing bacteria.
